There are real reasons why singing bowls and gongs have been used for centuries. Their purpose is to restore vibratory frequencies of the mind, body and spirit that are out of harmony or diseased. The sounds emitted work as a type of energy medicine that bring relief from pain, depression, stress disorders, grief and addiction amongst other maladies. The unique tones will prepare you for deep meditation, intuitive messages, as well as creative thinking.
We tend to feel the sonic waves as much as we hear them and the vibration touches every part of our physical being as well as transforming us on the emotional and spiritual planes. As the sound brings us into Theta state our nervous system is positively affected and our relaxation reflex is engaged, whilst also inhibiting the pain or stress response.
In addition to experiencing beautiful sound baths, you will learn how to play Tibetan bowls, to sing in overtones and enjoy some mantra singing on this retreat. Please bring your own Tibetan bowl and beater (if you have one), and a yoga mat. For the Puja we will set up a healing altar, so you are invited to bring a small picture, and/or meaningful article for a family member/ friend who needs healing.
Book your spot on this retreat.
