“Touch the ground, soften and widen”              Ajahn Sucitto

This woman’s day retreat offers the gift of time and space to breathe out, slow down and return home to ourselves. Our pace will be easy and gentle as we engage silence, time in nature, poetry, movement, meditation and the wisdom of Buddhism and Jungian Psychology as gateways to connect with our bodies, hearts and minds.

In the sunlight of awareness, tensions will begin to release; armour around our hearts to dissolve, and our energy wells replenish. We will explore myths and archetypes of the Feminine to will listen to what matters to us and remember our gifts, intuition, inner wisdom and strengths as women.

Playing mindfully with materials – collage, clay, found objects, paint, crayons – we will give form to our dreams and longings and befriend forgotten and alienated parts of ourselves.

In this journey of home-coming, we will open and awaken to the aliveness and preciousness of the present moment, and discover a sense of deep belonging to ourselves, others, and our world.
