If you’ve been feeling directionless, confused, or overwhelmed, you’re probably seeing things quite clearly! But guidance lies within, taking us forward through the confusion, step-by-step. This retreat offers a chance to regroup, in community, and recollect your vital role in the web of life.Interconnectedness and life purpose are deeply intertwined concepts that find resonance in the myth of Indra’s Net. This vast net stretches infinitely in all directions, with a jewel at each intersection. Each jewel represents an individual being, and every jewel reflects all the others in the net. We each have a distinct contribution to make. Our purpose is intricately linked to the purpose of others. When we align with our calling, we appreciate the interconnectedness that exists between ourselves and the world around us. We recognize that our actions have a ripple effect, touching the lives of others and collectively creating a more harmonious and compassionate world.By working with somatic meditation practices, including gentle yoga, qi gong and expressive movement, we will return to the wisdom of the body, which guides us moment-by-moment. Our bodies are treasure troves for self-reflection, insight, and freedom, filled with wisdom and worthy of our deepest devotion and care. Once the body feels at ease, the sitting practices of mindfulness and compassion allow us to access the heart-mind, the place where love, compassion and joy guide us to live purposeful and interconnected lives
