Secular forms of Buddhism have become increasingly popular in the West.  Mindfulness practices are now utilised in schools, organisations and in psychotherapy.  Mindfulness is, however, not just a treatment technique but forms part of a rich philosophy for making sense of our own existence.  This retreat will therefore introduce Buddhism as an existential practice that opens us up to what it means to be alive in a thinking, feeling, breathing body.  It will include gentle movement, Vipassana practice and some Korean Zen techniques
