Over the many years the Emoyeni work retreats have almost become an institution. These weekends have helped shape our gardens and made great dents in eradicating the invasive Lantana which seriously disturbs the bushveld ecology. The retreat offers you free board and lodging in exchange for ten hours of service spread over the weekend and a chance to get out there, get your hands in the soil and sweat your karma.
The work is mostly physical, outdoor work, but this is interspersed with meditation, good food and poetry. Donation of garden gloves, plants and compost are welcome.
