Ana Maria Panait
Ana Maria says she has always been a chocoholic. While living in Cote d’Ivoire she became interested in the supply chain and production process of chocolate and started visiting communities of cacao growers in both Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire. With the growing interest in craft chocolate, Ana Maria started attending tasting sessions and chocolate sampling around the globe. “After that I found that store-bought chocolate just did not offer the fresh, unprocessed taste of actual cacao. I wanted to educate people about real chocolate and this is how Rrraw, the chocolate company made in Afrrrica, was born.”
Ana Maria now makes and educates people about cacao with her handmade chocolates made with raw cacao beans sourced from various countries in Africa.
