Johan is the Head of Secretariat of the Africa EU Energy Partnership in Bonn, Germany. Previously he was CEO of the South African Wind Energy Association and Chair of the South African Renewable Energy Council. As an advocate, he has spent more than twenty years in in energy and climate protection work.
