Laura Dison is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Wits School of Education. She served as Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning in the Faculty of Humanities from 2020 to 2025. In 2010, she co‑established the Wits School of Education Writing Centre, where she collaborated with lecturers to design discipline‑embedded reading and writing interventions. Laura has facilitated numerous writing workshops for both students and academic staff, supervises postgraduate research in curriculum and assessment studies and has published widely in the fields of teaching and learning, reflective practice, assessment and writing development in higher education.
