Brian’s interest in Buddhism began 26 years ago and has developed alongside his work as an ordained Christian minister and priest in South Africa and the UK. He has worked in both Christian and Buddhist settings, including living at Emoyeni Buddhist Retreat Centre for 18 months with his wife Wendy, where he led meditation retreats, and serving as Centre Administrator at the Kagyu Samye Dzong Tibetan Buddhist Centre in Johannesburg.

His interests include contemplative Christianity, Zen and Pure Land Buddhism and Non-dual Spirituality. He is particularly interested in the points of intersection between religious traditions and the wisdom they share in exploring stillness, compassion and the deeper nature of reality.
